We invited the public to join us for an evening of food and fun to discover how good their taste buds are. Is it possible to detect hidden ingredients in a specially created menu by smell alone?
This event was an exploration of how we experience food. A delicious snack menu was specially created by the chef at the Digby Trout Restaurant at the Dana Centre in collaboration with our team, and was made available through the
course of the evening
with gastronomic treats.
How do you know what something tastes of? How can you be sure that what you smell is the same as what you taste?
All was revealed by pitting the audience against one of the most sophisticated detection technologies in the world.
Dana Centre events are open to anyone aged 18 or over. Most events are free. Please pre-book for all events except the drop-in sessions.
